A free group run by Trainer Steve
One small thing a week, done consistently, for the next thirty years.

You've started over so many times you could teach the first week. The plan is always good. It works until week three, which is exactly when it matters that it doesn't. The group is built for week three.
You go hard. New shoes, a spreadsheet, five days a week. Then a work trip or a cranky knee shows up and the whole thing drops at once. What was missing was something small enough to survive a bad week.
Somewhere past fifty, a doctor or your own lower back said take it easy. So you got careful, and careful slowly turned into not much at all. Here you pick one thing you can do well, at the level your body is at right now, and you keep doing it.
The prompt. I ask one question: what's the one thing this week? You answer in a line. One walk after dinner counts. So does ten minutes on the floor before bed.
The clip. A short video from me about making the thing stick. Usually one idea and one move you can use the same day.
The check. One question: did you? Yes, no, or almost. All three are useful. A miss is a data point, and we use it to make next week's thing a little smaller or a little smarter.
The live call. You can talk, ask, or just listen with your coffee.
If you go quiet for a while, nobody points at you in public. You might get a short personal note from me.
It's free, and all you need is a Facebook account.
I'm Trainer Steve (Steven Herrera), owner of Stick-To-It Fitness in Portland. I've coached for more than a decade, run over 15,000 sessions, and hold a Guinness World Record for most weight lifted by dumbbell curls in one minute. Sixty-plus five-star Google reviews. Mostly I help people keep going.
It's a consistency group, so you bring whatever you already do, or nothing yet, and we work on keeping it going. If you're working with a doctor or physical therapist, their guidance comes first.
You can read for a month before you type a word. When you're ready, a check-in is one line long.
Then the next prompt is waiting and you answer that one. Missing is part of the data, and nobody here keeps score of it.
The group lives on Facebook, so you can be anywhere. Portland is just where the studio and the A-frame sign are.
I use it to send you notes from me about the group, like when the next live call is. Nobody else gets it, and you can unsubscribe from any email in one click.
You've quit before, and you still read a whole page about sticking with it. Most people skip that part. You're in the small group that comes back.
